The Sony Anycast Station heralds an innovative new approach to live event production, with video switching, audio mixing, VISCA camera control, source and program monitoring, line conversion and web streaming, all in a single laptop-style unit weighing only 7 kg. This compact, portable and affordable production device is loaded with features and functionality to streamline and simplify the complex set-ups, wiring and production operations typically encountered in staging a live event.
This easy-to-operate unit accommodates a wide variety of applications in addition to live staging, including educational, community and church productions, product promotions, seminars, conferences, training sessions, distance learning and many more.
The main Anycast model is the AWS-G500, which includes:

15 LCD display for sources, preview and PGM (connection for larger display is provided)

4 Video Inputs (composite, Y/C and/or DV)

2 RGB Inputs for direct computer connection

Line converter with native 1280 x 1024 internal processing

Video Switcher with basic transitions and key effects

6 input stereo Audio Mixer

LAN connection

Memory stick slot

i.LINK VTR control

VISCA Camera Controller for external Pan/Tilt camera control

Basic titling tool

Output in composite, YC or DV while simultaneously providing RGB to a projector, and streaming to the Internet

Direct streaming with the integrated Real Video 9 Encoder for 10 clients @ 250/350 kbps or 20 clients @ 50/100 kbps. More seats can be accommodated with an external streaming server.
The BKAW-550 Video Input Module is an option to increase the video inputs from the standard 4 to 6. (Note: the standard RGB input card must be removed to accommodate 6 video inputs.)
The BKAW-570 RGB Input Module is an option to increase the RGB inputs from the standard 2 to 4. (Note: one of the standard video input cards must be removed to accommodate the additional 2 RGB inputs. This will limit the video inputs to 2.)
