Wysicom BFRT1 RF over fibre receiver

isycom has expanded its RF-over-fiber solutions with the introduction of the BFL1, a compact module designed to meet demanding RF coverage and distribution needs without concerns about cable loss. The BFL1 builds on Wisycom’s existing RF-over-fiber technology by offering selectable filters, an extended dynamic range, and a long-range Bluetooth 5 programming link. A custom-designed laser provides the BFL1 with more than 90 dB of dynamic range, enhancing signal quality and maintaining a low noise floor for wireless microphone and IEM/IFB systems. The BFL1 replaces traditional coaxial cables, allowing antennas to be placed miles away without distance limitations. Additionally, the BFL1 features 16 filter banks, including a 40 MHz tunable filter, to protect against unwanted signals and optimize performance. It is compatible with other BFL1 interfaces for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications, as well as with Wisycom’s MFL RF-over-fiber system. The BFL1 also integrates seamlessly with Wisycom’s latest products, such as the MRK16 receiver system, MRK980 dual receiver, and MTK952 wireless IEM/IFB system.
